Riding Pictures

Just a couple picures of myself riding around some. Mostly flatland.

Advanced Section

Definitely not finished with the section. Just started about a week ago, then went on a trip. I have a ladder step off being built in the photos. It is not going to be a jump (even though it look s like it). I will flatten it out by making another ladder up to the beginning of the other one and raising the front on that ladder to make it flat. After the ladder is a small downhill, and then flat. I might make a dirt jump or a step on step off, but not quite sure yet.

Intermediate Section

In the Intermediate section is only two obstacles. I have one dirt jump, and then after there is a log ride to a teeter off. I am going to build a large roll in off of a fresh stump (about four feet in height). After that, there will be a large left hand bank and probably run into another dirt jump until connecting back to the rest of the trail. That is all my current plans for the intermediate section.

Changes to Beginner Section

I changed a couple things around in the beginner section today. Coming out of the steep right hand turn in the beginning of the trail, there is no longer a box drop off. This was more of an advanced feature. Now I am building up a rock garden which will help with the flow of the trail. I used the wood from the old box to build a pyramid over an old tree that fell down (we will see how long it lasts). I also have some pictures of the small trail right before the beginner section which is actually quite tricky. On my next post, I will show some pictures of the intermediate section. The first couple of pictures in this post are of the small trail before the beginner section:

Today

We had a good session out today with a couple guys. A lot of nice tricks were thrown down including one scrape up of my buddies leg that looked pretty bad. I have been finished with the intermediate section of the trail for awhile now, but now I need to build an advanced section. I have already built one drop off ladder in the advanced section, and I can hopefully get some pictures of the stuff before I go off to Wintergreen to do some snowboarding! Also I have blazed another whole new trail that is an easement that has some potential.
